DEMU Showcase Event 2004

The DEMU Showcase Event 2004 will be held on Saturday 5th June in Burton-upon-Trent Town Hall (King Edward Place, less than 10 minutes walk from the railway station and with ample free parking behind the venue)

Door open 10:00-16:30 and admission is £3 adult, £1.50 Concs/OAP/Children Aged 5-16, £7.50 Family Ticket (2 adult + 2children). DEMU members get admission at the reduced rate of £1.

There will be modelling demonstrations on Scratchbuilding D&E; locomotives, resin casting and modern trackwork. Additionally DEMU, EMGS MIGO+1 and the Scalefour Society will have their demo/display stands present. In addition to the demu members' modelling competition and modelling displays there will also be a specific display of Class 37 models showing various options and techniques demu members have used to improve the available RTR Class 37 models. Finally there is the demu members' second hand sales stall. Refreshments will also be available.

The DEMU AGM will follow the shows close at 16:30. As it's DEMU's 10 birthday, there will be a cake which will be cut at the AGM and distributed to as many DEMU members present as possible!
